Sommelier's Note: The 2015 Chateau Pape Clement opens with concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry, edged by smoke, leather and a lift of orange zest. On the palate it's full-bodied and intensely layered — cassis and dark cherry at the core, framed by cedar, licorice and a truffle-like earthiness. Tannins are polished yet present; acidity gives drive and keeps the finish long and satisfying. Best served after a 60–90 minute decant to reveal mid-palate complexity.
