Tasting note: Bright, refined and typically Volnay — the 2022 presents effusive aromas of sour cherry, candied orange and a warm note of toasted baguette. On the palate it is medium-bodied with silky, gentle tannins and lively acidity that frames layers of red fruit, a hint of orange peel and subtle earthiness. The finish is long and tightly wound, promising further harmony with a little cellaring. Producer notes: Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur is a family-run domaine led by Vincent and François Bitouzet. Working within the classic Côte de Beaune tradition, the domaine focuses on expressing site character and purity, producing wines that balance precision with approachable charm.
