2018 Domaine Confuron Cotetidot Echezeaux Grand Cru

The 2018 Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot Echezeaux Grand Cru is a testament to the rich history and meticulous winemaking practices of the Confuron family. With a deep commitment to tradition, this wine is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, using séléction massale to preserve the integrity of their unique clone. The late harvest ensures perfectly ripe stems, while whole cluster fermentation and extended cuvaisons of 2 to 3 weeks impart complexity. Aged in barrels for up to two years, with a judicious use of new oak, this wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, offering a savory and classic profile with a robust body and intense flavors. Decant for an hour to fully appreciate its depth, and pair with rich dishes like roasted duck or beef bourguignon for a sublime experience.
