Tasting Note: A profound Grand Cru with an alluring bouquet of dark and red berries, rose and violet petals, and hints of forest floor and spice. On the palate it offers concentrated fruit framed by silky yet substantial tannins, a bright mineral-lined acidity and a long, layered finish with fine oak spice.
Producer Notes: Domaine Laurent Roumier grew from a family tradition begun in 1924. Laurent established his own domaine in 1991 and has expanded modestly since, privileging passion, hand-crafted attention and old vines. The estate's small-scale approach seeks to express the specific terroirs of Chambolle-Musigny and Bonnes-Mares.
