The bouquet is exceptionally aromatic, with concentrated perfumes of rich red and black fruits such as cherries, mulberries, and blackcurrants, complemented by notes of vanilla, spices, woodland undergrowth, and violets. As the wine ages, it develops intriguing hints of animal pelts.
