Tasting note

來自莊園獨有的 Napanook 田地，2020 年份以場址特色為主軸，香氣飽滿又層次分明：成熟黑莓、蜜漬李子與黑櫻桃的果香，夾帶香料、檀香與一抹薰衣草與礦感。口感濃郁飽和，單寧結構緊緻而打磨得當，帶著充足的酸度支撐果味，使整體不顯笨重；餘韻長且帶香辛與黑巧克力的回味。 酒莊重視田間管理與純淨表現，全部來自單一莊園並以莊園裝瓶，採摘期間細心挑選，釀造過程走極簡路線：人工篩選、光學篩果、溫和浸漬與人工換桶，每三個月手工換桶一次，桶陳使用約二成新桶，讓單寧與橡木相互融合。此酒適合醒酒一段時間後再喝，搭配烤牛排、羔羊或陳年硬質起司特別合拍。

A concentrated, site-driven wine from the estate’s Napanook vineyard, the 2020 shows deep garnet colour and an expressive aromatic profile: baked blackberries, preserved plums and kirsch underpinned by Indian spices, sandalwood, lavender and fine mineral hints. On the palate it is full-bodied with generous fruit framed by firm yet polished tannins and enough freshness to keep the wine lifted; the finish is long, spicy and persistent. Producer notes emphasise purity and provenance: this is estate-bottled from a single, meticulously farmed site and built to reward cellaring. Winemaking is deliberately minimalist — hand cluster sorting, optical berry selection, gentle pump-overs and hand racking — with maturation in barrels (20% new) to add structure and nuance. Harvest ran 16–27 September; drinking window begins in the mid-2020s and extends for decades. Ideal for decanting before serving and pairing with rich, grilled red meats or mature cheeses.
