The 2017 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Corton Grand Cru is a testament to the elegance and finesse that Burgundy wines can achieve. This organic wine, produced from the esteemed Corton Grand Cru vineyards, offers a savory and classic profile. The nose is greeted with an array of red fruits, floral notes, and a distinct hint of orange zest and cassis, presenting a bouquet that is both clear and pure. On the palate, it is accessible, with a round and soft onset that tightens into a precise and structured experience. The balance is impeccable, leading to a long, cool, and red-fruited finish. This wine is dangerously seductive and charming, with a floral allure that beckons enjoyment now, yet promises potential for aging gracefully through 2035.
