侍酒師私房筆記:Glenmorangie 'The Lasanta' 首先是乾果和蜂巢的甜香,接著濃郁炼乳巧克力與烤榛子跳出來,尾段有橙皮與肉桂、丁香的暖香。入口圓潤,中心帶果乾與焦糖,收結是微苦黑巧與木香。加一小滴水,香氣會更開,柑橘油脂感更明顯。
田地與釀造:Glenmorangie 位於高地,使用當地水源與優質大麥,特殊的高頸蒸餾器保留果香,之後以美國波本桶起底,再以西班牙雪莉桶(Oloroso、PX)補上濃郁乾果與香料層次。整個工序重視時間與木桶匹配,而不是單靠高度酒精度取勝。

Glenmorangie distillery, based in the Highlands, is famed for its tall 'giraffe' stills and fruit-forward approach. Under Dr. Bill Lumsden (Director of Whisky Creation), the spirit is distilled for elegance, aged first in bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks to build rich dried-fruit and spice layers. Owned by LVMH, the house focuses on quality, cask selection and creative finishing.
