Leoville Las Cases Collection 82/90/96/00/05/09

Soul Hook: A heritage collection of prestige Saint-Julien—mature concentration, cellar-polished depth.

Why choose it?
- Timeless cellar pedigree -> Years of ageing deliver layered complexity and rare bottle-to-bottle character you won’t find in modern one-note wines.
- Multiple benchmark vintages in one set -> Taste the evolution of a top estate across iconic years, perfect for collectors and serious dinners.
- Ready-to-enjoy maturity -> Decanted, these bottles reveal silkier tannins and opulent tertiary notes without long cellar waits.

Sommelier’s Note: This curated set brings together classic Saint-Julien structure: concentrated dark fruit at the core, with cedar, tobacco and graphite weaving through each sip. Age has softened the grip into a satin texture while sharpening mineral and savory edges—think cassis turning to black plum, leather and a lingering smoky finish. Best decanted for 45–60 minutes to let aromatics breathe and tertiary notes bloom.

Occasion / Pairing Guide: Ideal for milestone dinners, celebratory banquets or intimate tasting nights. Serve alongside roast lamb or Cantonese roast goose; slice of aged cheese for the last course elevates the finish.

Competitive Edge: Compared with headline grand crus, this collection offers direct access to mature, collectible vintages at a fraction of institutional hype—exceptional provenance and instant gratification for the enthusiast.
