2021 Macallan 30 Years Single Malt Sherry Oak

The 2021 The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an exquisite testament to the mastery of whisky-making. Matured for three decades in sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain, this whisky boasts a deep mahogany hue and a symphony of flavors. The nose is a rich tapestry of stewed fruit, old leather, and ripe cherries, with a sprinkle of gingersnaps and black pepper. As it unfolds, a sweet aroma of orange marmalade emerges. The palate is greeted with the luxurious taste of fragrant sweet orange, milk chocolate-coated Turkish delight, and a subtle whisper of smoke. The finish is enduring and spicy, leaving a lasting impression of dark chocolate, cherry liqueur, and a peppery zest. This full-bodied spirit is remarkably smooth, with a creamy viscosity that caresses the mouth. It is a celebration of the rich, dried fruit and spice character that is the hallmark of The Macallan's sherry oak casks.
