2024 Monopole Blanco Seco Rioja

Soul Hook: Crisp Rioja brightness that opens every table.

Why choose it?
- Vibrant acidity -> Keeps the palate clean and makes food pairing effortless.
- Pure, unoaked style -> Immediate freshness straight from bottle to glass.
- Heritage producer -> Classic Rioja craftsmanship without the premium markup.

Sommelier Notes: This Monopole Blanco Seco greets you with lemon zest, green apple and a fine slate-like minerality. Mid-weight and lively, it shows a delicate almond note on the finish and a herbaceous thread that keeps the wine poised. Best served well-chilled and given 15–30 minutes to breathe for the aromatics to open.

Winemaking & Vineyard: From CVNE's Rioja holdings, grapes are handled gently and fermented in stainless steel to preserve purity and bright fruit. Short lees contact adds a subtle texture without oak influence. Vineyards sit on classic Rioja soils—clay and limestone—contributing the wine's stony backbone.

Occasions & Pairing: Perfect as an aperitif, for casual seafood dinners, tapas nights or a refined picnic in the park. In Hong Kong, it shines with seafood dim sum, grilled fish at a neighbourhood restaurant, or shared tapas on a rooftop.

Competitive Edge: Delivers clear, varietal-driven freshness and Rioja pedigree at an accessible price—great value compared with similarly styled imports.
