The 2017 vintage expresses sublime elegance and density, hailing from the prestigious western benchlands of Oakville, including the hallowed To Kalon parcels. Aged for 17 months in 100% new French oak, it unravels with pristine layers of ripe cassis, fresh blackberry, crushed violets, and subtle cocoa dust. On the palate, seamless, fine-grained tannins frame a remarkably plush yet vibrant core, carrying through to an extraordinarily persistent, aristocratic finish that will evolve effortlessly over the next two decades.
