品飲筆記:色澤深沉勁烈,先是黑莓、黑櫻桃與新鮮無花果、切片大黃的果香,隨之轉為橄欖泥、鹹香火腿與雪茄、可樂與肉桂香料。口感飽滿而有層次,酸度清爽提起整體,單寧細緻但有握感,像一層細霧包覆舌面,收結帶有烤種子與微鹹礦物感,餘韻悠長。 酒莊與釀造:來自奔富(Penfolds),由首席釀酒師操刀,將來自多個南澳產區的果實融合後以老舊大型美式橡木大桶(50年以上、約1460公升)熟成。這類大桶重在塑造結構與質地,而非明顯烤桶風味,熟成期約12–18個月,讓果實與木質緊密結合。 葡萄園與年份:2018年普遍偏暖乾,少數海風影響的產區如Port Lincoln則有利於均衡成熟。遲開花與晚熟令採收延後,但整體帶出成熟濃郁的果實與清爽酸度,非常適合長期陳放。 品飲建議:年輕時建議醒酒約1小時,倒入大杯慢慢品嚐,搭配烤羊腿、牛排或風乾肉類最是合拍。語氣輕鬆:這是一支既能立刻享用又值得收藏的經典款,適合愛濃郁但講究細緻口感的朋友。

Tasting Note: Deep, inky crimson with an alluring perfume of black and red stone fruits, fresh fig and cut rhubarb, layered with tapenade, pressed olive, tobacco and cola-spice. The palate is expansive and concentrated — vibrant acidity and finely etched, mouth-coating tannins drive a salty-mineral finish laced with toasted seed and subtle savoury charcuterie notes. Producer & Winemaking: St. Henri is a classic multi-regional Penfolds blend crafted under Peter Gago. Fruit is sourced from multiple South Australian regions and matured in large seasoned American oak vats (50+ year, 1,460L) — the old casks lend integration and texture rather than overt oakiness. Typical maturation ranges around 12–18 months in seasoned large oak before bottling. Vineyards & Vintage: The 2018 harvest combined warm, dry conditions across Barossa, McLaren Vale, Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills and other regions, with cool maritime influence in sites like Port Lincoln assisting even ripening. The vintage produced concentrated, ripe fruit with lively natural acidity and excellent ageing potential. Cellaring & Serving: Drinking window extends for decades (2021–2055). For near-term drinking open and decant for about 60 minutes to reveal aromatics and soften youthful structure. Serve in large glasses at cellar to cool-room temperature.
