Tasting note
Tasting Note: Ripe blackcurrant and blackberry lead, layered with cedar, sweet spice, tobacco leaf and a touch of graphite. Medium to full-bodied with opulent fruit, refined yet present tannins and balanced acidity that carries the savory spice finish. Producer & Winemaking: From a house that emphasizes meticulous handling, this Reserve is vinified using a gravity-flow approach — careful extraction, separation of free-run and press fractions, then selection and precision pressing. Ageing for 12 months in oak rounds the structure and adds subtle vanillin spice without overpowering the fruit. Vineyard: From gravelly Médoc rises with clay subsoil and a protective maritime microclimate, the site delivers concentrated, well-drained fruit with classic Pauillac grip. Serve slightly cool (16–18°C) after a gentle decant of 30–45 minutes to reveal secondary notes of tobacco and cedar. A refined mature example that pairs superbly with roasted or grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
