Sommelier Notes: On the nose you'll find citrus blossom, white peach and a hint of exotic fruit, folded into fine oak spice. The palate is medium-bodied and silk-smooth, buoyed by crisp acidity and a saline, persistent finish — think creamy fruit that keeps its lift. There’s a delicate vanilla/cream thread from barrel ageing but the wine stays focused and lively.

Winemaking & Vineyard: Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressing with only first presses retained. Fermented in stainless steel and matured (notably with a portion aged in new French oak) for around nine months to build texture and complexity. The grapes come from elevated Margaux gravel outcrops where sun, drainage and a cooling stream temper heat and stress — ideal for balance and tension.

Occasion: Perfect for a refined weeknight roast, a seafood-centric dinner, or as the go-to bottle for guests when you want something recognizable yet intriguingly different.

Chateau du Tertre — a Margaux estate now producing a distinctive white under Vin de France. Managed by Eric Albada Jelgersma and owned by Les Grands Chais de France, the property benefits from elevated gravel outcrops and a cooling stream that promotes drainage and temperature balance. Consultant winemaker guidance and hand-harvested fruit lead to meticulous sorting, whole-bunch pressing and selective ageing (including a notable proportion of new French oak) to create textured, balanced whites.
