2025 The Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Soul Hook: A perfumed, sherry-aged classic—luxury that warms from the first sip.

Why choose it?
1) Matured in hand-selected sherry-seasoned oak -> Deep dried-fruit and spice layers that evolve in glass.
2) 18 years of controlled ageing -> Silky, rounded body with an enduring finish—perfect for slow sipping.
3) Iconic provenance -> A collectible bottling from one of Scotland's benchmark single malt houses.

Sommelier's Notes: Expect rich layers of raisins, dried fig and orange peel folded with dark chocolate, toffee and a streak of nutmeg. The mouthfeel is broad and velvety, showing oak spice without harshness; finish is long, toasted and warming. Let it rest 10–20 minutes in the glass to open—tiny sips reveal new notes.

Occasion: Celebration dram, milestone gifts, after-dinner contemplative pour, or paired with a late-night cheese board.

Competitive Edge: Offers concentrated sherry-cask character and polished maturity that many newer high-end releases chase—an established classic that still sets the benchmark for weight, depth and collectible value.
