Aromas open with warm spice — cloves, brown pepper and a hint of cardamom — layered over violet florals and ripe blueberry fruit. The palate is poised and concentrated: fresh red-plum and berry flavours ride on fine, long and silky tannins, finishing with a touch of dark chocolate and crushed stone minerality. Producer Notes: Crafted by Two Hands Wines under winemaker Ben Perkins and guided by vineyard manager Travis Coombe, Charlie's Garden is a single-site bottling that showcases the cooler, high-altitude character of Eden Valley. The team emphasises vineyard selection and small-batch handling to preserve purity and site detail. Winemaking: Fruit is handled in small lots with gentle extraction to retain perfume and texture. Ferments are completed with careful oak integration to support structure without overwhelming the fruit, producing a wine that balances power with finesse and polished tannins. Vineyard: The Charlie's Garden site sits in Eden Valley where cooler nights and well-draining soils heighten natural acidity and aromatic clarity. Low-yielding vines and attentive viticulture produce concentrated fruit with fine tannins and a stony mineral thread.
