2019 Valdicava Brunello Montalcino Vigna Montosoli DOCG

Soul Hook: An undeniable Montosoli signature—pure, mineral-driven Brunello with a velvet backbone.

Why choose it?
- Single-vineyard expression -> A focused, terroir-led profile giving precise mineral and floral notes that evolve in the glass.
- Refined structure -> Ultra-fine tannins and full body deliver cellar potential without sacrificing immediate appeal.
- Critically acclaimed -> High scores from top critics underline its pedigree and investment value.

Sommelier's Notes: The 2019 Vigna Montosoli opens with pure black plum and black cherry, layered with dark chocolate, dried flowers and a subtle earthy-mushroom note. Incense and a stony mineral thread run through the palate while ultra-fine tannins give firmness without aggression. The finish is long and panoramic—classic Montosoli tension between power and precision.

Winemaking & Vineyard Notes: From Valdicava’s prized Montosoli cru, this vintage reflects meticulous canopy work and low yields. Fermented with careful extraction and aged in large oak followed by refinement in bottle to retain freshness and terroir clarity.

Occasion (pairing & moments): Decant 60–120 minutes for immediate enjoyment. Ideal for celebratory dinners, aged beef roasts, special-date night with hearty pasta, or a weekend cellar tasting with good friends.

Competitive Edge: Delivers a near-top-tier Montosoli experience—collectible, fiercely terroir-driven and often at better value than the most hyped labels from the same hill.
