2021 Valli A Taste of Otago 4 Bottles Tasting Pack (375 ml)

Curated by legendary pioneer Grant Taylor and head winemaker Jen Parr, this benchmark four-bottle collection captures the pure essence of southern New Zealand across four distinct sub-regions: Gibbston, Bannockburn, Bendigo, and Waitaki. Each site tells a distinct geological story, shaped by ancient schist soils, cool glacial winds, and dramatic alpine elevations. Winemaking emphasizes hands-off precision, utilizing indigenous ferments, thoughtful whole-cluster integration, and refined French oak aging to preserve transparent site identity. On the palate, experience an intellectual shift from the bright, floral delicacy and wild thyme of cooler pockets to the dark, muscular density of arid valley terraces, finished with vibrant salinity and chalky, fine-grained tannins. An essential masterclass in a single collection.
