La Grande Dame 2012 is an elegant, expressive Champagne that pays tribute to Madame Clicquot’s pursuit of exceptional terroirs. The nose opens with delicate white flowers—jasmine and honeysuckle—then unfurls orchard fruit and fresh brioche. On the palate it shows creamy mousse, bright citrus lift and chalky mineral core, evolving into notes of toasted almond, dried apricot and honeyed frangipane. Made by traditional method with a modest dosage (6 g/L) and extended lees aging, the cuvée delivers both finesse and depth: poised, saline and long. Best enjoyed slightly chilled after a short decant to reveal its layered character.
