Tasting Note: Bright, fruit-forward aromatics of red cherry and raspberry mingle with a hint of spice and floral lift. The palate is juicy and medium-bodied, driven by vivid acidity, lined with supple, fine-grained tannins and finishing with a soft, creamy aftertaste.
Producer Notes: From the family-run Virna Borgogno estate — now stewarded by Virna, Lodovico's daughter — this wine reflects a commitment to fresh, approachable wines that pair easily with food.
Winemaking Notes: Gentle extraction and temperature-controlled fermentation preserve the wine's lively acids and primary fruit. Aging is focused on balance and freshness, with neutral vessels and brief contact with seasoned wood used to round the texture rather than impart overt oak.
