The 2003 Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf-du-Pape is a testament to the exceptional terroir and meticulous winemaking of the Famille Perrin. This wine boasts aromas of figs, red fruit, and cooked meat juices, leading to a soft, round, and full-bodied palate. Despite the hot vintage, it retains great freshness and has a remarkable ageing potential. The vineyard, located at the northern end of the appellation, features rolled pebbles, sand, clay, and limestone, with vines that have been organically grown for over 50 years. The wine is aged in oak foudres for a year, enhancing its complexity and depth.

Château de Beaucastel has long been considered one of the great wines of France. It is unanimously renowned for its balance, elegance, and ageing potential. Beaucastel has an extraordinary terroir at the Northern end of the appellation with heavy exposure to the Mistral. All 13 varieties of the appellation have been organically grown here since the sixties.
