Tasting note

A Corton Grand Cru with a classic, savory profile: lifted aromas of roasted earth and smoke frame subtle dark cherry notes. On the palate the wine is firm and focused—fresh, ripe dark fruit wrapped in a slight bitter edge and gentle tannins that give structure without heaviness. This bottling shows careful élevage: restrained oak influence and polished extraction preserve freshness while adding complexity. From a historic walled clos on Corton, vines benefit from well-drained limestone-clay soils and full sun exposure, producing concentrated fruit and good aging potential (drinking window to 2032). Best served after an hour’s decant to let the smoky, earthy layers open; pairs beautifully with roast duck, game birds, braised mushroom dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
