The domaine focuses on low yields and attentive vineyard work to express site character. Winemaking notes: Hand-harvested fruit is treated gently at the cellar: light destemming, moderate extraction and fermentation in open-top vats, followed by maturation in French oak for about a year to integrate structure while preserving freshness. Vineyard notes: Le Charmois is a first-growth exposition in Saint-Aubin with limestone-clay soils and favourable sun exposure.
