Tasting note: Deep garnet in the glass, this Eden Valley bottling opens with generous black-fruit aromas—blackberry, black cherry—layered with peppery spice, a touch of dark chocolate and cedar. On the palate it’s concentrated and finely textured: ripe fruit framed by lively acidity and firm, well-integrated tannins, carrying through to a long, spicy finish. Producer notes: Crafted by Love Over Gold from select high-elevation parcels in Eden Valley, this cuvée reflects cool nights and strong diurnal range, producing vibrant aromatics and balanced structure. Winemaking: Small-batch fermentations with careful extraction, followed by extended maturation in French and seasoned oak to add spice and polish without overwhelming fruit purity. Vineyard notes: Sourced from low-yield, well-drained sites on the Eden Valley slopes—stony soils, good sun exposure and cooler microclimates encourage slow ripening and concentrated flavours.
