Along with Petrus, Clos l’Eglise is one of the finest wines of the vintage in Pomerol. Its deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by a sumptuous perfume of mocha, fudge, vanilla, black cherries, espresso, and plums, a creamy, full-bodied texture, gorgeous purity, and a long, persistent finish with no hard edges. It is quite an achievement! Anticipated maturity: now-2015.
