Hennessy Paradis (50 ml)

Hennessy Paradis is Maurice Fillioux’s 1979 creation — a luxurious cuvée assembled like a symphony. The blend marries many aged eaux-de-vie matured in very old barrels, producing an amber-gold spirit with a graceful, silky texture. On the nose: dried rose and honeysuckle, layered with honeyed dried fruit, warm spices and subtle rancio. The palate is round and elegant, offering notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted nuts, delicate truffle and lingering sweet spices that lead to a deep, persistent finish. Crafted by successive Hennessy Master Blenders and presented in a sculptural decanter, Paradis showcases long ageing, meticulous blending and a focus on aromatic harmony. Best enjoyed slightly opened — decant briefly or let rest in the glass for 10–20 minutes to reveal its full complexity.

Hennessy — one of Cognac’s great houses — created Paradis in 1979 under Master Blender Maurice Fillioux. Fillioux envisioned a blend assembled like an orchestra: many aged eaux-de-vie chosen for their complementary personalities. Ownership today remains within the major luxury spirits group, and the house retains a multigenerational blending tradition, emphasising long cask ageing, careful selection of old barrels and a sculptural decanter that celebrates the blend’s roundness and authority.
