Tasting note: Bright and intriguingly layered, Hendrick's greets with classic juniper overlaid by delicate rose and a hint of cucumber. Citrus peel and white pepper lend a zesty, slightly spicy edge, while a smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel carries herbal and floral echoes to a tart, lingering finish. Producer & distillation notes: Hendrick’s is made by William Grant & Sons under Master Distiller Lesley Gracie. The spirit is produced using an intentionally eccentric two‑still method — a traditional copper pot still for richness and a Carter‑Head still for refinement. The distillates are married and then infused with rose and cucumber to create the gin’s signature profile. Eleven botanicals (including chamomile, elderflower, coriander, cubeb and orris root) are used to build complexity. Winemaking / production notes: Unoaked, small‑batch distillation emphasizes botanical clarity. The double-distillation approach yields a balance of weight and vibrancy — the pot still gives depth and the Carter‑Head contributes floral lift and finesse. The final spirit is finished with a curious infusion of rose petal and cucumber essence, then bottled with a traditional T‑top cork. Vineyard / sourcing notes: Not wine-grown — botanicals are carefully sourced from a range of growers and suppliers to achieve consistent aromatic quality.
