The 1996 Chateau Siran is a testament to the Margaux terroir, offering a harmonious blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and a touch of Cabernet Franc. This wine is characterized by its spicy and complex aromas, dense structure, and a persistent freshness that lingers on the palate. Crafted by winemakers Jean-Luc Chevalier and Marjolaine Defrance, with consultation from Hubert de Boüard, the wine underwent meticulous vinification, including intra-plot selection, extended maceration, and aging in French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months.
