Tasting Note: Bright and focused, this Extra Brut opens with white-tea and stone-fruit aromas—peach and tangerine—framed by honeycomb, lemon curd and a touch of orange zest. The palate is bone-dry with fine, persistent mousse, lively citrus acidity and a saline, slightly creamy lees texture that carries a long, refreshing finish. Producer & Winemaking: Produced by Champagne Eric Taillet using the traditional method, this bottling incorporates around 30% reserve wines (notably from 2014) and is finished at an ultra-low dosage of 0.6 g/L. Bottle-fermented and aged on the lees to build texture, it shows careful cellar work and restrained dosage to highlight freshness and purity. Vineyard Notes: Grapes are sourced from selected family parcels in cool Champagne sites with classic chalk-rich soils. Low yields and attentive vineyard management prioritize ripeness balance and aromatic clarity, producing fruit that gives the wine its lively acidity and fine mousse.
