The 1989 Echo de Lynch Bages, formerly known as Chateau Haut-Bages Averous, is a testament to the classic and savory character of Pauillac wines. With a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, this wine has matured gracefully, revealing beautiful aromas of blackberry, currant, and red licorice. The palate is full-bodied and enveloped in a silky texture, with a subtle undertone of fresh herbs. Aged in one-year-old French oak barrels for 12 months, this wine has developed a harmonious balance. It is recommended to decant for an hour before serving to enhance its complexity.
