Chateau Les Carmes Haut-Brion is a dynamic wine from the prestigious Pessac-Leognan appellation in Bordeaux. This wine is richly structured with great fruits even at this stage. It is full of rich black fruits and a velvet texture, complemented by floral notes and exotic spices. The wine is aged in a combination of new oak barrels, foudres, and terracotta amphorae for 24 months, adding complexity and depth. The vineyard's unique soil of Mindel graves on clay and limestone, combined with 100% hand-picked grapes, results in a wine that is both elegant and powerful. Perfect for pairing with grilled lamb, beef stew, mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses.
