釀造方式：採分區小槽發酵與延長浸皮以獲取濃郁果味與結構，之後在橡木桶中熟成以整合單寧與香氣。使用軟木塞封瓶，設計為可陳年發展的款式。

葡萄園環境：座落於 How​ell Mountain 的高地園區，晝夜溫差大、排水良好且土壤礦物含量高，這些條件能催生出風味集中、酸度鮮明且具深度的果實。

Tasting note: A concentrated, mountain-grown expression showing deep black and blue fruit — blackberries and ripe blueberries — framed by dark chocolate, graphite and a cool iron-mineral thread. The texture is broad and layered, with pronounced, sandy tannins and an oak spice backbone that lends polish and structure.

Producer notes: Outpost Wines focusses on site-driven mountain vineyards, crafting limited-production wines that reflect elevation, exposure and volcanic soils. The "True Vineyard" bottling channels the cooler nights and bright acidity of the Howell Mountain site into a bold, age-worthy wine.

Winemaking notes: Small-lot fermentations and extended maceration extract concentrated flavors and firm tannic structure. The wine is matured in oak (a mix of seasoned and new barrels) to integrate spice and toast without overpowering the fruit. Bottled under cork and built to evolve gracefully in bottle.

Vineyard notes: Planted at higher elevation on Howell Mountain, the vines benefit from strong diurnal shifts, excellent drainage and mineral-rich soils. These conditions produce concentrated fruit, intense aromatics and persistent structure.

Serve: Decant for 60–120 minutes to let the primary fruit open and tannins soften. Best with richly flavoured, fatty red meats and slow-cooked dishes. Cellaring potential through the 2030s and beyond for further integration.
