A lively, summery single malt that begins with The Balvenie’s signature honeyed core and gentle vanilla from long maturation in American oak. Layered finishing in casks formerly housing Madeira wine lifts the profile with fresh peach and orange-zest aromatics and adds rounded nutty complexity — think toasted hazelnut and soft toffee. On the palate it is smooth and broad-bodied, honeyed mid-palate giving way to citrus peel brightness and a warm, lingering spice and oak-driven finish. Bottled at 43% ABV with a T-top cork, it’s crafted to be approachable straight or with a splash of water to open fragrant top notes.
