A warmly honeyed Highland single malt, Aberfeldy 12 shows syrupy layers of vanilla, fudge and toffee balanced by soft orchard fruit and a touch of brioche. The oak maturation brings baking-spice and gentle nutty notes, while a faint whisper of smoke lingers on the finish. Distilled at the Aberfeldy distillery and matured for twelve years in oak casks, this expression leans on a creamy, malty backbone that makes it approachable yet richly flavoured. Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water and given about 10 minutes in the glass to open up.
