這款2022年Le Clos來自著名的M. This 2022 Le Clos from M. Chapoutier is a concentrated Saint‑Joseph that marries ripe dark fruit with a distinctly stony, mineral core. Appearance is deep garnet with purple highlights. The nose opens to black cherry and blackberry with floral violet notes, a hint of smoked bacon and graphite-like minerality. On the palate it's soft and rich at entry, evolving into very fine, silky tannins and an elegant, layered mid‑palate. Long, lingering finish that echoes the granite terroir. Winemaking and vineyard notes: Fruit is hand‑harvested and brought to the cellar in small crates; alcoholic fermentation takes place in a 30‑hectolitre concrete vat with an extended maceration of roughly five weeks. The wine is matured entirely in oak for about 20 months (25% new barrels). The vines grow on brown soils derived from coarse‑grained, black mica granite — fractured, mineral‑rich ground that imparts that stony signature. Producer notes: Crafted under the stewardship of Michel and Marc Chapoutier, this cuvée expresses the wild, rocky Northern Rhône energy—concentrated yet refined. Drink now with an hour’s decant or cellar through the next decade (drinking window c.2025–2035).
