2012 Dom Perignon Gift Box
2012 Dom Perignon Gift Box
2012 Dom Pérignon Brut is a vintage Champagne of pronounced energy and precision. The bouquet is layered—powdery white flowers, ripe apricot and a bright citrus peel sit alongside a mineral ash note and hints of white pepper. On the palate it opens with a creamy, fine mousse before becoming remarkably taut and lively: rhubarb and mint lift the mid-palate while toasted almond, subtle espresso and tobacco accents frame a saline, penetrating finish. Producer notes underline the vintage’s contrasts—intensity tempered by taut acidity and a biting bitterness that ultimately brings structure. Made by Dom Pérignon using the traditional method with extended lees contact and careful cellar ageing, the 2012 reveals both immediate charm and serious ageing potential. Best served well-chilled and given a short period of gentle aeration to unfurl its aromatic layers.
