The 2018 Chateau Clerc-Milon is a testament to the art of winemaking in Pauillac. This wine, with its deep color and crimson hue, exudes aromas of fresh berries like blackcurrant, intertwined with floral notes of violet and a hint of spice and liquorice. The palate is greeted with a dense and opulent attack, leading to a fresh and smooth mid-palate, supported by generous, silky tannins. Flavors of pepper and dark chocolate add complexity, culminating in a succulent and harmonious finish that lingers. With 18 months of barrel aging, this wine showcases the exceptional qualities of its vineyard, where gravel and clay limestone soils contribute to its distinctive character.
