Tasting note

品飲筆記:酒色深透,前調以黑莓、黑醋栗與成熟李子為主,伴隨淡淡紫羅蘭、煙草與雪松香。入口中段飽滿但不笨重,果汁感明亮,細緻圓潤的單寧把果味托起,尾韻帶些礦感與香料。 酒莊背景:由 Henri Martin 以分地購入方式累積而成,許多地塊在1855年列入名園,因而擁有多樣且優良的風土。現由 Jean‑Louis Triaud 掌管,追求穩定且可陳年的品質。 釀造與田間:採人工採收,傳統於不鏽鋼溫控發酵槽內釀製以保留清晰果味;酒款放入橡木桶熟成約18個月,木香與果實巧妙融合。葡萄園分布以 Saint‑Julien 為主,土壤與微氣候讓酒款兼具結構與鮮明果味。醒瓶建議約一小時,能解鎖更多層次。

Tasting note: Deep, clear ruby with aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry and plum lifted by violet and a touch of tobacco and cedar. The palate is medium-bodied, juicy and focused — ripe, polished tannins support savory blackberry and licorice notes with restrained oak and a mineral-tinged finish. Producer notes: Created by Henri Martin, this estate was assembled parcel by parcel, many from vineyards classified among the grands crus of 1855. Its careful selection of terroirs and attentive farming underpin the estate’s reputation for consistent quality. Currently owned by Jean-Louis Triaud. Winemaking notes: Hand-harvested fruit is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using traditional methods. The wine receives extended maturation in oak for about 18 months, integrating wood and fruit while preserving freshness. Vineyard notes: The Domaines Henri Martin holdings are concentrated in Saint-Julien (with some parcels in Haut-Médoc). Grapes come from well-chosen plots across the appellation, producing wines that balance classic Médoc structure with ripe, expressive fruit. Drinking window spans early maturity into long-term development for those who cellar.
