【Sommelier’s notes】Medium-bodied and fully into its tertiary phase: think forest floor, soy-rich reductions, dried dark fruits and cigar-box cedar. A faint rustic note of brett adds savoury interest rather than fault. Tannins have softened but still support the backbone; acidity remains fresh enough to lift the finish. Expect sediment—open carefully and decant for about 45 minutes.

Chateau Pontet-Canet(五級莊),由 Alfred 與 Michel Tesseron 持有。酒莊約 81 公頃,礫石土壤,走有機與生物動力路線(Ecocert / Demeter 認證)。全部手工採收,原生酵母發酵、長時間浸皮與柔和下壓,熟成採取橡木+陶缸混合,讓酒既保留地域感又不失細膩。

Chateau Pontet-Canet, a Fifth Growth in Pauillac, is family-owned by Alfred and Michel Tesseron. The estate works biodynamically and organically across 81 ha of Quaternary gravel soils. Winemaking blends traditional techniques—hand harvest, indigenous yeast fermentation, four-week maceration—with a modern maturation program: about 50% new French oak plus amphora aging and long élevage (16–18 months). The house style balances Pauillac structure with attentive cellar work.
