A polished Premier Cru from Meursault’s famed Perrières slope, this 2018 shows ripe citrus, white-fleshed stone fruit and a spine of stony minerality. Aromas of lemon zest, pear and toasted almond lead to a rounded, creamy mid-palate, shaped by gentle oak and a touch of vanilla. Bright, focused acidity balances the richness, delivering a saline, lingering finish. Produced by the family-run Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur, the wine combines vineyard precision with restrained cellar work for refined concentration and ageing potential.

Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur is a small family domaine managed by Vincent and François Bitouzet. Focused on Meursault parcels including Perrières, the estate practices careful, low-yield viticulture and hands-on vinification. Fermentation and ageing in French oak (with moderate new wood) and judicious lees management produce wines that reflect terroir with finesse rather than heavy manipulation.
