Tasting note: This mature Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru reveals an elegant and layered profile — dried red cherry and plum at the forefront, evolving into wet leaves, mushroom and subtle truffle notes. Secondary aromas of leather, cigar box and aged spice mingle with a cool mineral thread. On the palate it is silky and refined, with softened tannins, a lively backbone of acidity and a savoury, persistent finish.

Producer notes: From the historic family domaine of Comte Georges de Vogue, this wine hails from one of Chambolle-Musigny’s most prestigious parcels. The domaine has long focused on low yields and precise vineyard work to capture terroir expression in its Grand Cru bottlings.

Winemaking notes: Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with respect for traditional Burgundian techniques — gentle extraction, maturation in French oak (a mix of new and older barrels) and extended élevage to allow integration. Minimal fining and careful racking preserve tertiary complexity developed with age.
