The palate is ample and juicy yet retains a lifted mid-palate freshness; tannins are firm and structured, promising further integration with cellaring. Producer notes: From a respected Rhône house, this bottling reflects the estate's focus on balance between power and elegance. The team selects parcels that give concentrated fruit and ages carefully to preserve clarity while allowing complexity to develop. Winemaking notes: Grapes are hand-sorted and fermented with attention to extraction to build texture without harshness. Matured in a mix of well-seasoned oak and vats to marry spice and tertiary notes—resulting in a wine that shows both youthful intensity and aging potential. Vineyard notes: Fruit comes from classic southern Rhône limestone and galets soils, where warm days and cooling nights produce concentrated flavors and ripe tannins. The site management emphasizes low yields and attentive canopy work to achieve phenolic ripeness and healthy balance. Serving suggestion: Decant for about 60–90 minutes if drinking now to soften the tannins and open aromatics. Best with roasted lamb, grilled ribeye, smoked ribs or mature cheeses.
