A generously textured Hermitage blanc from Gabriel Meffre, showing ripe stone fruit and apricot framed by white florals and honeysuckle. Zesty citrus lift and a saline mineral thread keep the palate lively, while gentle oak and vanilla add a touch of warmth. On the palate it is creamy and rounded with a lively spine of acidity and a persistent, slightly honeyed finish. Produced by a Rhône négociant known for parcel selection and careful élevage, the wine is made from hillside parcels of Hermitage, matured on fine lees with a measured use of oak to preserve freshness and add complexity. Serve slightly chilled with a short decant to open the aromatics.
