品飲筆記:酒液呈深紫濃郁,香氣縈繞黑醋栗、黑莓、松露、濃郁咖啡與黑巧克力,夾帶花香與香料氣息。口感圓潤而絲滑,單寧細緻包裹著豐富果實,中段有礦物與些許甘草、咖啡的餘韻,收尾悠長。
酒莊與產區:作品一號由兩位創辦人聯手打造,秉持追求最高品質的理念。葡萄園分布在著名的Oakville地區,包含To Kalon的地塊以及包圍酒莊的Ballestra與River園區,土壤與微氣候賦予酒體濃縮而優雅的輪廓。
釀造與田間:2010年天氣多變,莊園以人工採收並嚴謹管理葉蔭,避免果實日灼。釀造採長時間浸皮(19天),並於新法國橡木桶熟成18個月,造就結構紮實、層次豐富的風味表現。

Tasting Note: A saturated purple core opens to an expressive bouquet of black currant, blackberry, truffle, espresso and dark chocolate, with floral hints of rose petal and a spice-box lift. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, richly layered and silky, with round, velvety tannins, lively integrated acidity and a touch of mineral graphite that carries a long, persistent finish.
Producer & Estate: Opus One is the partnership-born estate created by Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi with a singular commitment to uncompromising quality. The estate vineyards occupy four parcels on the western side of Oakville AVA, including holdings within the famed To Kalon, plus the Ballestra and River parcels enveloping the winery.
Vineyard & Vintage: The 2010 growing season presented early challenges—cool periods, untimely rains and late heat—yet careful canopy management preserved fruit integrity. Hand-harvest across the estate parcels between September 23 and October 23 ensured optimal picks.
Winemaking & Aging: Fermentation featured an extended 19 days of skin contact followed by 18 months maturation in new French oak barrels. The result is a finely structured wine with a polished texture and excellent cellaring potential.
Cellaring: Drinking window spans decades; this vintage is approachable now with decanting but will reward long-term aging.
