The 2012 Sena from Aconcagua Valley, Chile, is a masterful blend that showcases the full potential of Chilean winemaking. This biodynamic wine, created by Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi, is modeled on a Bordeaux style but with a distinct Chilean soul. The bouquet reveals pleasant fine oak spice, red berry confit, delicate nougat, and candied orange zest. On the palate, it is juicy with an elegant texture, medium complexity, and ripe cherry fruit. Fine round tannins and nice fruit nuances lead to a persistent finish. This wine is already drinking well and has great development potential.
