On the palate it’s herbal and zesty with hints of nutmeg, creamy mid-palate notes and a pleasantly warm, lingering finish. Producer notes: Rooted in folklore, Zubrowka celebrates the aromatic bison grass harvested from Bialowieza, Europe’s last primeval forest and a UNESCO site. The legend of bison energy and aphrodisiac power informs the brand’s storytelling, and a single blade of bison grass is the signature element. Winemaking / distillation notes: Made from carefully selected grain spirits and gently infused with bison grass, the vodka is triple-distilled and rigorously quality-checked for purity and authenticity. It is unoaked and bottled under screwcap to preserve its clean, grassy character. Vineyard / field notes: The bison grass comes from the Bialowieza region — a protected landscape where wild bison roam. The herbaceous blades are harvested with respect for the fragile forest ecosystem to impart that distinctive aromatic profile. Serving suggestion: Best chilled or over a single large cube; allow about 10 minutes in the glass to open. Excellent neat, in a simple highball with apple juice, or as a fragrant base for herb-forward cocktails.
