Le Petit Cheval Blanc 2022 expresses a refined, Right Bank white behaviour: lively citrus and white‑flower aromatics open first, followed by stone fruit and a clear flinty/mineral thread. The 20‑month oak élevage brings gentle toast and vanilla that wraps a creamy mid‑palate without hiding the wine's bright acidity and saline core. Produced by Château Cheval Blanc under the management of Pierre Lurton and the ownership of Albert Frère and Bernard Arnault, this cuvée blends careful vineyard selection with meticulous cellar work to balance freshness, texture and oak influence. Fermented and matured in oak barrels with extended lees contact, bottled under cork. Best enjoyed lightly chilled; a short decant (about 30 minutes) helps the layers unfurl. Drinking window 2025–2040.
