The 2015 Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is a harmonious and elegant wine, showcasing a deep rich ruby red color. Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret is a renowned winery located in the heart of Burgundy, France. Owned by Jean Mongeard, the estate is known for its meticulous attention to detail in both the vineyard and the winery. The vineyards are planted on hard limestone with low clay content, and the vines are on average 45 to 50 years old. The grapes are hand-sorted in the winery to ensure only the best quality fruit is used. The wine is aged in 80 to 100% new oak barrels, adding complexity and depth to the final product.
