The 2021 Lagavulin Natural Cask Strength 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a majestic spirit from the iconic Islay region. This whisky offers elusive aromas of ash and linseed oil, followed by light fruity notes and a fresh whiff of the sea. The texture is smooth, with a big taste that is sweeter than expected, intense, and deeply smoky. The finish is long and commanding, with a prominent smokiness and a lightly drying, salty aftertaste. This whisky is matured in traditional refill American oak casks, selected to perfectly express the distillery's character.
